Mental Health Awareness is about understanding, educating, and reducing stigma around mental health issues. It aims to promote open conversations, encourage early intervention, and ensure access to resources for those in need.
Our next Community Conversation will highlight the Port Chester Arts Festival. The Port Chester Arts Festival returns for its second year to celebrate the groups and artists that make our town a creative hub. Local businesses, arts venues and community spaces across town will provide arts programming throughout the day, all free and open to the public. Some of the exciting events include exhibitions, open studios, family and adult workshops, artisan booths, public art initiatives, performances by local students, raffle baskets, and more.
Please join us on Friday, December 8th at 9:00am for this exciting conversation with PCAF!
We will be hosting our next Community Conversation on October 20, 2023 at 9:00am over Zoom. We will be hearing from Michael Goldstein and Charles Morgan, current CCS Board members and leaders within the Foster Teen Employment Network, a program that aims “to connect employers to teens who will shortly age out of the foster care system and are in need of permanent mentors. This connection is meant to provide foster teens with not only the work-related skills that they will need to succeed in the future, but also with mentors who are able to serve as lasting role models.”
